The River Road Hunt Club in Liberty Hill (20 miles north of Camden) is in need of two or three members for the 2011 season. We have 1828 acres leased on a peninsula on Lake Wateree near Highway 97. We've been in existence since 2004, but have lost a few members this year due to the bad economy. This is the first year since we've been around that we've had to search for members.
We have an excellent deer population with great genetics, and have taken deer with anywhere from 10 to 13 points every year for the past few seasons. We've also got a lot of turkeys and predators.
The club has more than 35 comfortable permanent stands that are available on a first-come, first served basis. All parts of the lease are easily accessible via 4WD truck or ATV. Many parts are accessible via 2wd truck.
We have pines, hardwoods, swamps, hills, and valleys. You can view a map of the club at http://huntclub.wingshooters.net.
