Gator Hunting...Yes, we do that in South Carolina too!  Gator hunting is not for the mild and meek at heart.  Gators can be very large in size and very powerful.  Cruising along the Santee or many other rivers in South Carolina, all you have to do is look over in the shallow waters or take off down a little "slip" and you're likely to see a gator.  Gator hunting can be dangerous and no one should try this by themselves the first few times you go.  You'll want to be accompanied by an experienced gator hunter before trying it yourself!  Over the years there have been some huge gators in The State paper and gator competitions are more and more commonly hosted.
