Turkey Competition Rules

To win the WeHuntSC.com Montana Decoy Turkey of the Year Competition you must:

• Hold a valid South Carolina hunter’s license
• Submit a picture of your turkey in the gallery below with your name and information about the turkey(s) in the available fields of the picture submission
• YOU MUST HAVE THE DATE IN THE PICTURE (PHOTOSHOPPING DISQUALIFIES THE PHOTO)
• The competition will be judged on quality of the bird + quality of the picture... so go the extra mile to take a good, quality picture!
• Submissions must be made between March 15th & May 1st.  The top 5 photos will be posted on May 3rd and then online voting will be live for 5 days and the winner will be announced shortly thereafter. Your votes will ultimately determine the winner.

The quality of your photo will really make a difference when we narrow it down to the top 5.  Below are some tips to help you understand what we think makes a good picture.

• Look happy and smile... you just harvested a nice animal
• Take the picture in a natural setting if possible (in the woods or in a field)
• Have as little blood in the picture as possible
• Cover up the entry/exit wound if possible
• Be sure to have good lighting!  Have the sun (or any light source) aiming towards you
• Have a WeHuntSC.com sticker in the picture
• And don't forget... HAVE THE DATE IN THE PICTURE!
