On November 5, 2011, Sandhills Ducks Unlimited would like to invite you to the 1st Annual Conservation Banquet held at Windy Hill Manor in Pageland. The night will begin at 6:00 pm with a buffet dinner served at 7:00 pm. A live auction will start between 8:00 and 8:30 pm. There will be a silent auction, many door prizes and raffle prizes.

Early Goose season is a special time for me, because it kicks-off our fall waterfowl season, and helps me get back organized (or suppose to) with all of our clothing, gear, and trailers.

This past weekend I was able to help out with a duck hunt on SC’s “Youth Hunt” day and I had fun…and boy did I get soaked!

You may be a tough guy, but if you’re out there long enough Mother Nature will eventually win!  So how do you stay warm on brutally cold hunts?
